TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION

100% Chemical Free

Our Plants work 100% free of chemicals in all phases of the process. Both the production of water by RO, and the recovery of brine by FPW-O® and DSW-O® are carried out without the injection of chemicals.

Self-Cleaning of Membranes

The patented membrane cleaning system of our RO plants allows an automatic cleaning of the membranes, avoiding the accumulation of biofilm and the incrustation. This process operates without the need to stop production.

Energy Efficiency

Our RO plants are equipped with energy recovery systems. This, together with the DOC system that keeps the membranes constantly clean, allows obtaining the best performance in kW / h per m3 of water produced.

Less is More

The FPW-O® does not need recirculation, nor ERD (energy recovery), it does not need a second stage, it does not need reinforcement pump ... All this without, incrsutations, without biofouling, without acids even with high SDI. With fewer vessels and fewer membranes.

Our RO technology uses a porous filter medium to develop a type of bacteria that lives in the sea naturally. To attract the particles from stable colloids, the bacteria produce and cover themselves with enzymes that work like a glue. For this reason, coagulants are not necessary to destabilize colloids. This treatment is successful if a technology is achieved that allows to keep the environment clean, as we have developed it.

The filtration of our RO plants is done at a higher speed (~ 10-15 m / hr). A different bacteria, but also natural seawater, is established in the filter medium. This bacterium is capable of permanently consuming the organic material dissolved in the water. This bacterium causes the water to reach a state of “famine” or lack of oxygen. The absence of oxygen is key to keeping corrosion at low levels. The backwash of the filter can now be discharged into the environment without any treatment since it does not use chemicals.

Patented system of self-cleaning of membranes through direct osmosis that does not require human intervention or production stops. With the membrane self-cleaning system, maintenance cycles are longer – The system keeps the membranes clean and prevents their wear by anti-foulants and CIP (Clean in Place).

Our FPW-O® system works with a rapid increase in reject concentration, takes advantage of relatively slow scale formation kinetics and discharges rejection before the solute ions have the opportunity to organize themselves into a structure favorable to embedding.
